About Nala
In this exclusive interview, pooch Nala put her best paw forward and answered the below ten questions to find her perfect match.
1. What's your philosophy in life? Looking tough but living a loving, gentle lifestyle.
2. Why would I choose you? Big dogs give big love, obviously…
3. What are your favourite things? Cuddles, naps, belly rubs and a routine. If you do something three times in a row, be prepared to make it a regular thing. I won't forget it.
4. There's no such thing as a perfect dog. Are you always obedient, and will you listen to me? Excuse me…? What are you trying to say, uh? *rolls her eyes* Anyways, they call me cheeky and sassy if you're pushing for it. Not sure why. I do sometimes slowly sneak off to move closer to you, even though they tell me to go to my bed. But come on…. sighs, zzzz…
5. Wake up, lady! Are you listening to me? Yes, have I told you that I love you?
6. Which words describe your personality best? Playful, Highly intelligent, Fun, Social, Active, Friendly, Love overload, Loyal, Happy-go-lucky, Eager to please, Gentle, Cuddle bug. To sum it up, I'm full of personality!
7. Do you actually like it when we go to the dog park, or is this a no-no? We should just live there.
8. Describe your perfect match. You, you, you! Seriously though, I get along with everyone - including the smaller ones. I have so much love to give and will make you feel safe, woof! I'd love to find someone with a (small) backyard to occasionally stretch my legs, who loves dog parks as much as I do, keeping up my social lifestyle.
9. How do you show affection and connect with us, humans? Oh, that's an easy one. I wag my tail and roll over on my belly to demand belly rubs!
10. Let's cut to the chase, why are you looking for a new home? It is tough to talk about this. We are an incredibly tight family. Their visas are expiring, and they must travel a long, looong way home. They say that - out of big love for me - I should stay here. They are worried that the big trip will trigger my anxiety.
Nala is open to answer more questions after her sleep. Once she wakes up, she's keen to meet you!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
