About Bear
Romeo is a sweet little boy who has so far, sadly, lived a life of neglect. Romeo is very under socialised and is arguably more comfortable with other dogs than humans at this stage (we can relate). Romeo doesn't tend to get along with other male canines, so, it is essential that Romeo's forever home features a female canine role model who can help show Romeo the ropes.
Adopters will need to have the right expectations with Romeo. Things like toileting, walking in public and interacting with young people/ children, are all things which will require time to build up to. The ideal forever home for Romeo is an adult household without too much hustle and bustle. A secure yard will also be essential. Potential adopters will also ideally be time-rich to help combat years of neglect.
Romeo is a project dog, but we look forward to having the opportunity to find him the second chance he deserves. If you have a canine companion already and have room for another, please give us a call and we can organise for the two to meet at our Burwood East Shelter!
