About Milo
Gorgeous Milo is a great little all-rounder. He loves the great outdoors and exploring and playing in the yard, but also loves quiet times inside playing with his toys, snoozing on one of the dog beds, or cuddling up for an afternoon nap on the bed with his favourite human. He is a chunky little guy with a sensitive side. Milo is super-friendly with people and great in the puppy crew of course, but he is also good with the bigger dogs and definitely up for a play with them if they are in the mood.
Milo was born in the western desert region of Central Australia in beautiful Willy Wagtail dreaming country. He was weaned rather abruptly from his mum coming into care along with his litter-mates at 4 weeks of age to be raised up and rehomed, as his family were going away for an extended period. Fortunately, at the time we had a mummy dog whose pups had just been rehomed and she spontaneously adopted this little crew and fed them while they were getting used to solid food. They really have had a very carefree and protected puppyhood and are a well adjusted bunch.
Milo is currently in care in Community and will be ready to travel in early March. He will travel by road to Alice Springs and then to Adelaide via a direct QANTAS flight. His travel costs are included in his adoption fee.
Medical notes
In addition to the usual parasite management (tick, flea and heartworm prevention), Milo will be tested for the full panel of tick-bourne diseases endemic in the Northern Territory, before he travels. If treatment is needed it will be provided.
