About Mika The Greyhound
HHello there, I’m Mika, and I need a very special and caring home please.
I am the sweetest, most loving and gentle boy. I really do have so much love to give and am so ready to begin showing it. Could yours be my forever home?
There are a couple of things you need to know first. I have some health issues. The team here at Greyhound Rescue have sorted out a great holistic healthcare plan for me and my wonderful foster carers are overseeing it brilliantly. I may need some medications and therapy but don’t worry; the volunteers will help you get your head around it all.
Another thing to know, I’m a bit achy. I have a spine disorder, you see, which means I require all the comforts in life, please. A lovely soft bed is vet’s orders! I also need a home without stairs, please. They’re just a little too taxing.
Having said that, I’m doing so well now, thanks to my healthcare plan! I have found a little more spring in my step and love my daily walks around the neighbourhood – something I’m sure we can enjoy together.
I’m good with kids and while I’m currently living with another greyhound in my foster home, I’m not too keen on other dogs.
All I want is to live a peaceful, quiet and laidback life where I can show my person how much I adore them. Is it you? I promise you I’m worth it.
If you'd like to meet me, please complete an application form here https://greyhoundrescue.com.au/apply-now/
To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
