My name is Bindy and before you read on, my story might be disturbing to some but it’s a story that needs to be told.
There are many different ways animals are fortunate enough to find their way into rescue. My story before rescue is particularly sad. I was found in a rubbish bin with a bag tied around my neck barely alive.
I am not sure who found me but they must have been a very kind soul because they rushed me to a vet, and here I am today, telling you my story.
Now I know you are thinking “ how does anyone get over something like that” but I can tell you that is my old story, and I am here to write a new story. Hopefully with you !
On the way to my foster home, I was making friends and putting my paw out of the carrier playing with the kind man who driving me to my new life. Yes indeed, leaving that old sad life behind me.
I have settled in very well in my foster home, my foster mum and I have lots of chats. I am never rude and I always reply when I am spoken to. I will always come to you when l see you with a chatty greeting. I enjoy human company, and I like to be where you are. I like to greet guests with a leg glide by. I haven’t met a person that I haven’t tried to make friends with.
My ears are the cutest little things and totally irresistible. My foster mum is always up for a cuddle, and she never lets me go without telling me how gorgeous I am. I must admit that I quite like that.
Not a fan of cats so I would have to be adopted as an only cat, and stay as the only cat in my family. I am comfortable around dogs that are cat friendly as the dogs in my foster home are.
My foster mum has made a promise to me that I will never ever know any more hurt or unhappiness. If you think we could help my foster mum keep her promise and love me and keep me safe forever and a day send Silver Lining an email.
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS ❤
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
