About Dusty
Please read on about our lovely Dusty....
Dusty is an affectionate, beautiful lady - both inside and out. Her coat is a cream colour with dark brown points. Her luxurious fur is soft and long, however this is not an issue as Dusty enjoys being brushed. Her dazzling eyes are a beautiful sky blue colour. Dusty's manners are impeccable and she is a joy to have in the house with you. We are looking for a loving human companion who could be with her for the next 10 years plus of her life. For Dusty, we would strongly recommend the following lifestyle, which has been drawn from her background notes:-
QUIET/CALM HOUSEHOLD - Dusty has not lived with children, other cats or dogs, therefore we recommend that these be avoided in her new loving home. Older, cat-savvy gentle children may be acceptable. A regular routine would also be welcomed by Dusty.
AN EXCELLENT DIET - This is one of high-quality dry biscuits, wet food and bowls of fresh, cool water. All these items are important to keep her body and coat healthy. Regular visits to the vet are also essential.
LIFESTYLE - Dusty has never lived outside, therefore it's absolutely essential that she stay inside, where she is happy. A couple of large-sized cat scratchers (near windows and also where people gather) are necessary to keep Dusty's nails healthy and prevent furniture scratching. Nice comfy cat-beds with good views are also appreciated by Dusty.
A LAUNCH AREA - Dusty appears to be an easy going lady, however a launch area will make it an almost seamless transition into her new home. This is a quiet area (bedroom or crate), where she has access to all her essentials (bed, food, water, bedding, toilet tray and toys). She can chill out in this space if or when the need arises.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
