About Fred
HEY!!
Oh, hey. Hi there. How are you?!
Hey! Did I say that already??
Oh sorry!
I'm just super excited to meet you.
My name is Fred and I'm looking for a new place to call home and a family to make me one of their own.
I'm a 2 year old dude so pretty much still a puppy really.
You know, us labradors we're kind of puppies forever anyway. How much fun is that??
So I'm unfortunately looking for a new home because my previous family has experienced a relationship break up. Everyone involved has realised that I deserve to have a stable, secure home and they can no longer offer me that.
I've been a much loved lad who has grown up around young children and cats. I am usually very social with other dogs too, though I've been known to go on a couple of cheeky adventures with other dogs if I'm not in a secure yard 🤭
I'm coming from a home where there's been someone home with me almost all the time. Like, I'm fine if you need to go out to run errands or maybe if you just work or study for a few hours at a time - but seriously, I'm not going to be cool with being home alone all day everyday.
I'll either start barking until somebody comes to visit me, or I'll try to help out with the garden by turning your soil.
I'm perfect for a home with maybe a stay at home parent or just anybody who either hangs out at home a fair bit, or could take me out on adventures when you go.
It goes without saying that I have lots of energy and love to get out and stretch my legs.
I'm looking for daily walks of at least 45 minutes, preferably twice a day!
I love to run and play with toys and I like water to splash in but I am also an affectionate and snuggly guy. I enjoy playing fetch then coming in to cuddle on the couch.
I've got a little basic training but not exactly loads. I can be a bit of a cheeky chops and need plenty of guidance from my new family to teach me how to be my very best.
Attending a group training class for young adult dogs is highly recommended, my pals at SAFE can suggest suitable options in your area.
I'm a really awesome guy who is going to be such an amazing addition to a lucky family. Oh I would like to be included indoors of course, as part of the family.
So I think that's most of the important stuff to know about me!
My adoption fee is $450, I'm desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
SAFE has mentioned to me that dogs who are my kind of breed usually get loads of interest so I'm hoping that's true!!
If you'd like to welcome me into your home then get in touch today and tell me as much as you can about yourself and what kind of life I would lead with you. .
