About Amaranth
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Amaranth is a sweet and loving girl who loves nothing more than to be petted and receive chin scratches. She has an adorable little meow that she will use to let you know when she’s hungry or craving attention. Amaranth prefers to stay indoors only and would do best in a calm home with children who are respectful and gentle. She’s not fussy with food, so she’ll eat whatever is available, although she hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet.
If you are looking for an affectionate and laid back cat, Amaranth is the perfect fit for you! She loves nothing more than to curl up in a sunny window and enjoy her days in peace. With her easy-going nature, Amaranth would make the perfect addition to your family!

Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon you can then collect your furry friend from the vets following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
