I've been adopted!
About Elsie 34878 Campbelltown ACF
- Best as an only dog
- Open to meet kids 5+ years
- Suitable for apartment living
- Approx. 22kgs
Hi, I’m Elsie!
I’m a sweet, gentle girl looking a patient family who will love me forever. It would be beneficial if my new family has owned dogs before to help me gain some confidence in new environments. I love humans and affection so I hope to take up a spot on your couch so we can watch tv together.
Due to my gentle nature I’d be open to meet kids who’re 5+ years as long as they’ve been around dogs before and will not get too excited around me. I’d love a safe space in the home where I can retreat to when I’m feeling overwhelmed or want to be alone, such as a crate or room just for me!
My carers think I might be suitable to apartment living as the inside, relaxed lifestyle matches my personality. I love going out for a gentle walk but I’m not accustomed to loose leash walking yet. My new owners will have to help me to walk more politely and not pull wherever I like!
I have met other dogs in the facility and I'm very picky with who I do and don't like, so it would be best if I could be the only dog in the household for now until I'm better socialised. If we pass dogs while walking in the street, it’s best not to force me to interact with them as this can be very frightening.
Toys don’t really interest me yet, but I love cuddling and having my tummy rubbed. If I sound like the girl for you, send through an expression of interest below!
