About Buddy
Introducing Buddy, the master of tail wags and treat-induced happiness! Nothing makes him happier than the sound of his family returning home after a day of work. This social goofball loves to be included in family activities and cherishes the moments spent lying by his human feet. Meeting new people is the highlight of his day and he will excitedly say hello.
Here's the cutest part: Buddy's obsession with cuddling his plush toys. Yep, you heard that right. This lovable pooch snuggles up with his plush companions as if they were his siblings. His favourite toy is his treat ball which he will happily push around the house. He'll proudly present you with this toy, hoping to earn a place by your side for some quality snuggle time. This friendly gentleman firmly believes in the power of cuddles, and he won't let you forget it.
Buddy's personality is a perfect mix of eagerness to please, high intelligence (he's a doggy Einstein in disguise), and an endless appetite for fun. When it comes to his favourite things, Buddy can't resist a good game of tug with his beloved toys. He also enjoys using a lick mat and rolling a ball with food inside. These activities keep him entertained and happy throughout the day.
Buddy's typical day involves some alone time indoors from 7:30 am until 3 pm, where he mostly rests. He has access to the outdoors and enjoys his daily walk around 5 pm. After burning off any excess energy, he likes to settle close to his humans.
Now, let's talk about Buddy's ideal match. This lucky person or family should have a calm household, outdoor access for adventures, and experience handling strong canine shenanigans who can continue his training. Buddy prefers a home without resident cats and where the only little ones are of the teenage variety. He's a rural-loving pup who thrives on exploring the great outdoors. Oh, and be sure to ditch the helmets—Buddy is not a fan, and he might bark to let you know!
Here are a few more things to know about Buddy: he has attended obedience classes and does well there. He walks well on the lead and has a great recall. While he generally gets along with other dogs, he might bark when he wants to play. Buddy's bark is deep and loud, which can be intimidating to some people. However, it's important to know that he's a gentle giant and his bark is usually just a sign of excitement. Buddy is an 34kg indoor dog who loves his walks and car rides. He travels well in the car and absolutely loves the beach.
He is a pro at the art of zooming, but fair warning—his spatial awareness could use a little tune-up. Unpredictable twists and turns are all part of the fun!
Regretfully, Buddy’s owners are looking to rehome him due to changes in personal circumstances.
Note: Buddy is located in Mambourin, VIC
Medical notes
A grain free diet is best as grasses can irritate his skin.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
