This is the lovely Jeda.
Jeda is a lovely girl who is looking to show of her love and to be loved. She is a gentle soul, but sometimes forgets about her size when it comes to smooches and cuddles.
She enjoys zooming around the yard with her foster siblings and snuggling on the dog bed together. She is an inside/outside dog, she quite enjoys to curl up on the dog bed inside unfer the fan.
There is a cat in her current foster carer house, however further testing is needed. She doesn't lunge or bark at the cat if she sees him through the door, however her excitement when brought close to him was enough to scare him away.
Due to her excitement, it is advised that she be supervised around children. With her being a big dog she does tend to knock smaller children over unintentionally.
Jeda loves to go for a walk. She is currently being walked on a head halti and is learning to be settled on a lead. She gets a bit excited when she sees other dogs while walking.
She is not a fan of getting into the car so needs to be lifted into the car. Once in the car she does settle with praise and a few treats.
Jeda is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate of a night time. Due to still being a young dog she does have the tendency to chew when board but has responded well with a few chew toys and crate training.
Jeda is great company and I have no doubt she is going to make some lucky person or family very happy.
Jeda would enjoy meeting anyone who would love to meet her, and please remember to bring treats.
Jeda is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives. If you would like to meet Jeda, please email adopt@nqar.org.au
