Dexter here! I am a sweet natured but shy and sensitive boy who would love nothing more than a quiet family who can offer me all the love that I could ever ask for. I get a bit startled by loud noises so older kids would be best for me. I would really need a family who will allow me indoors to come up on the couch and cuddle up to you so I can feel safe and warm. If you have a calm female, social doggy friend for me I will need to meet them to make sure I feel comfortable with them too!

I have been in foster whilst I recover from heartworm so I am already starting to get used to a lovely family home but I will still need some down time as this takes quite a toll on oneself! That being said, I am more than ready to conquer the world with my new loving family.
