Sammi

Sammi is a sweet, but timid lady who is looking for a calm, quiet home with structure and routine to help her settle into a home environment. Her new owner will need to be patient as it may take Sammi time to warm up in the home. Provide a safe space eg a bed or crate for her, where she can go when feeling worried or overwhelmed. Sammi has likely missed early socialisation and interaction experiences and is worried by close handling. Make all experiences positive and go slowly with her so she learns to trust and build a bond with you. She may do well sharing her home with another small breed dog, preferably male, who could help her build in confidence. Sammi would like to meet all members of the family at time of adoption.
