About Murphy
Introducing the handsome Murphy! He is a Mastiff x born 1st September 2020.
Murphy is a sweet young man who loves nothing more than spending time with people.
Murphy tested well with other friendly dogs, however he will defend himself if he feels threatened by an aggressive dog. With social dogs he's really playful & turns into a wiggly boy.
Murphy has shown mild signs of separation anxiety while at the facility. This may ease in a home environment he may shows signs of anxiety if left along for long periods of time.
Murphy tested well with cats, so he could be suitable to live with cats if given a slow & controlled introduction. He may need some extra training & socialising with cats in a home environment to ensure a long & happy relationship with them.
He did not test well with pocket pets & will need to be in a home with no smaller animals like rabbits or chickens.
Murphy is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Murphy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Murphy’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Murphy is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Murphy is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
