About Luna
****************************PLEASE APPLY AT www.gsrv.com.au ****************************
Luna is 18 months old and is a little pocket rocket. Luna finds herself looking for a new home due to her owner battling a serious illness and was unable to give Luna the attention she needs.
Luna loves everyone and is a complete cuddle bug, jumping into laps for a pat and snuggling in on the couch, she loves to be close to her humans. Luna is the definition of a ‘German Shadow’ she follows her humans everywhere and loves to be involved in everything. Luna would prefer to have someone home with her more often than not, or would like to go with her new humans when they go to work. Luna must be allowed inside and included as part of the family in her new home.
Luna is an active girl and has lots of energy to burn, she is looking for an active family that can give her plenty of exercise and take her on family adventures. Luna has a quick mind and will get up to mischief at times, she needs to be given plenty of enrichment and mental stimulation; Kongs, treat puzzles, snuffle mats, hide and seek games and giving her things she is allowed to destroy such as cardboard boxes, will help to keep Luna entertained and out of trouble.
Luna knows her basic commands and has excellent recall, she walks reasonably well on lead but does like to pull a little bit and criss-cross sniffing everything. Luna can jump up quite a lot and needs to be reminded of her manners especially when meeting new people, she doesn’t have any experience with children, therefore we are looking for a home where everyone is over the age of 8 and who are confident around a dog that jumps up.
Luna adores other dogs, she likes to cuddle, play and hang out with them. Luna can be a little bossy around other dogs and would benefit from living with an older male dog that can teach her some manners and appropriately tell her off when she is being cheeky. Luna would also be fine living as the only dog in her new home, so long as she is with her people, she is happy.
Luna has not been tested with cats or other small pets.
Ultimately Luna is looking for a best friend, someone she can do everything with, she wants to be the apple of her owner’s eye. Luna is clever, easy to train and has just the right amount of cheekiness and sass to make the perfect companion. This playful little pocket rocket will provide endless amusement and even more cuddles.

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
Mature (1 year to 6 years) - $600
