Remi (Indy)

Remi is the sweetest little girl.
She loves people and other dogs.

She is highly intelligent, keen to learn and eager to please.
Given her high level of intelligence she can become bored easily so keeping her mentally stimulate with puzzles, games and training is important. She is high energy so this helps her to channel that energy. She enjoys fetch but will not always "give" the ball back.

She loves to play with toys or other dogs.
Is gentle with smaller dogs ( forgets her size at times) and tends to be submissive around bigger dogs, knowing her place in the hierarchy. Has not shown any signs of aggression toward other dogs.
Yet to encounter a cat or other animals but is intrigued by them on the TV.
Yes, she watches TV. Tennis is her favourite.

Remi is learning how to sit calmly on her bed when inside the house but is cheeky and tries to sneak away at times and sometimes invites herself onto the couch.

She is crate trained. Will retreat to her crate for "rest" and has rest time if she becomes too boisterous inside. She sleeps in the crate problem free all night. This is her safe place so she likes to take toys and food to her crate.
She is toilet trained and also uses a doggy door.

While she is very outgoing she also thinks she is a lap dog and loves to cuddle up with you, enjoying pats, hugs, kisses and any type of affection. Belly rubs are her favourite along with couch cuddles.

Skills she knows or is currently learning are: sit, drop, shake, wait, down (she jumps when excited), bed (place training), rest (crate time).

Recall is a work in progress but she is a quick learner and enjoys making a game out of it.

Loose leash walking is progressing well with use of a halti collar and she loves walks and car rides.

Remi still needs to learn to be calm around daily activities and thunderstorms and fireworks are not her favourite things

She is still a puppy still so will chew and dig if left to her own devises. The right owner will have patience and commitment to training her and in return Remi will be the most loving and loyal dog.
