About Maisie
Maisie is a quiet, older lady and at 14 years young, she likes to spend time snoozing in a quiet spot, pottering around the garden and going for short walks.
Maisie gets along well with cats and other dogs, but she does get a bit taken back by boisterous animals, so a quieter household would suit her best.
Maisie loves her food but she can become fussy if fed the same thing every day. Her foster carers have found that a good quality dry food and a variety of wet foods work well for her.
As Maisie is a Tibetan spaniel, she has a beautiful, lustrous coat so she does need a brush every now and then. She is not a vocal dog but she will watch over her family. She likes to be around people and have company, but she will come over for a pat when she is ready.
Sweet Maisie does have heart disease but lives a very comfortable life on daily medication.
There has been a lot of big changes in a short period of time for Maisie so she can be a little aloof with strangers, but once she is comfortable, she really is a perfect companion and addition to any family.
This sweet little lady has so much love to give, and is looking for a quiet home to live out her twilight years.
Medical notes
Maisie has heart disease which is well controlled with medications. She will need to continue these medications for the rest of her life
