About Bear
This is Bear! As you can see, Bear knows how to work the phrase 'puppy dog eyes'.
Bear has a fracture to the growth plate in his shoulder and will need rehabilitation when he goes to his new home. He'll need to live a little more low key for a while (easier said than done)! He does have a plan in place to for his new family to follow, and you can discuss that in more depth with our vets if you decide to adopt.
Bear is still a pup, therefore he has lots of puppy tendencies and will need someone to put in the hard yards with him and do the training he missed out on when he was a young boy.
Bear thinks everything is fun, interesting and meant for play, especially you!
Bear has a lot of energy so would love a big outdoor area to run around in when he is allowed his exercise.
He loves enrichment activities like Kong toys, bones to chew, and toys to keep him entertained when left alone - as he does struggle to be left alone.
Bear is best suited to a teen/adult only home with someone who is home all the time, as he will need time and patience to settle into a new environment and learn not to be anxious without company.
Bear loves being with people and will need to be inside with you as part of the family.
Bear MAY be suitable living with a friendly, resilient dog who is happy to put up with his boisterous, and (at times, over-the-top) playful energy!
If you would to make an appointment to meet Bear please call the RSPCA Peninsula on 5978 9001.
