Millie *On Trial*

*millie is currently trialling her new home* hi i’m millie and i’d just love, love, love a home of my own – will it be with you?????

this cute little pocket-dynamo was recently surrendered to sarg as her owner had fallen on hard times so instead of letting millie suffer she decided a better home would be the best option so we promised we’d find the perfect home for millie!

being a mini fox terrier blend this pup loves tearing around checking out the world or playing with her toys and when that’s all over and done with millie likes nothing better than curling up in the first available lap for a well-deserved snooze!!!

millie’s a healthy, happy, friendly pup who is very affectionate and loves being with humans. . . . . But don’t be fooled by her size – at 6 months of age and weighing less than 3 kilos millie has a huge personality and reckons she can take on any size dog either small or large! because of this she will need a firm owner who knows this breed can be quite feisty. She will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Confident little millie is great with her carers little dogs as well as with their cats – she’s already trying to rule the roost. She is a busy social pup who also loves children and if it’s a “doorbell” you’re after little millie has that down pat! while in foster care millie will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down”. Being short haired and not overly fussy makes her quite low maintenance. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing and toys to keep her stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. Millie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly, submissive doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
