About Ned
Ned is a super loving, family-oriented, active, polite and exceptionally beautiful golden boy. He has a broad and pattable head, beautiful brown adoring eyes and the type of inexplicable joy that is catching: it is impossible not to smile back at his goldie grin!
He has grown up in a home with both kids and adults, and loves everyone!
Some of Ned’s favourite things to do are walking, spending time in the water and chasing a ball. He has wonderful manners, and will sit politely as he waits for his food.
Ned will need ongoing support from his forever people around unknown dogs, as he lacks confidence after having local dogs rush at him often. For this reason, he will need to remain on-lead when out and about and he will need his humans to support him by avoiding places with off-lead dogs. He will need his humans to give him time to settle in and bond to them before expecting much of him as Goldens are loyal to their people and their place and take a while to settle into a new home and lifestyle. He is such a lovely dog though that it will be well worth the patience!
His ideal home would have a well-fenced yard and a doggy pool for him to enjoy! A home where his people enjoy walks and are looking for a companion to include in their day-to-day lives.
Typical of his type, he is keen to try and work out how to get the people to hand over the tasty treats and thus learns new things rapidly. He has good basic training and is well-mannered in the house.
Ned is simply lovely and will be a devoted best friend/ golden shadow to his new people!
