About Millie
“I like long walks on the beach, playing fetch till the sun sets and cuddles.” - Millie 2023
If this sounds like you Millie thinks you would make the perfect best friend!
Millie is a fun-loving happy pup, who loves tearing around the yard with a chew toy, wrestling with a squeaky toy or playing catch with her best friends - her people!
Although she loves a good play and loves her daily walks, she’s like a little wind up toy who runs out of gas. After her play sessions you will find her snoozing away in the sun, or her real preference, cuddled up to you!
Millie is a very smart, polite girl who has already learnt so much in her time in foster. She knows all her basic commands, although as she is still a pup, she can sometimes get very excited and is still currently learning not to jump up!
Millie would benefit greatly from someone keen to continue her training. Millie was not exposed to much early on in life and is still playing catch up. She is very adaptable through training and shows deep trust in her humans. It also helps she is very food motivated!
She loves her walks and never pulls on lead. When on lead she may huff and puff if another dog barks at her, however once introduced she has no issues. She is certainly a confident, bossy girl though so if there is other dogs in the house, a cool, calm and collected male would be the best fit!
Millie is fully house trained and use to the good life sleeping indoors in a nice bed and cuddling her humans. While she is more than happy to spend time outside during the day or when her carers are at work she is very much used to being a part of the home.
Millie did not have the greatest start to life and was rescued as a small, underweight and flea ridden pup. Despite all this she loves people and wants nothing more but to show that love and get it in return.
