About Watson -Desexed and Vaccinated
Watson has been through quite a lot in his life and is looking for a steady and loving home. Watson would like to thank a particularly caring person, alex, for her compassion. When she was driving along she noticed him sitting near the road. After getting out of the car and approaching she saw a distressing sight -watson loyally sitting beside his dead partners body. The body had been mauled by a dog but he did not leave her side. Alex called a council ranger and waited next to watson until they arrived and took him away to the pound. Immediately alex got on the phone and started calling anyone who could help, till she came across our shelter. Thankyou also goes to sophie, one of our outstanding volunteers, who is always ready to drop everything and save a bunny!
watson is waiting his impound days in our foster care program, and will then be available for adoption. The fee includes desexing and vaccination. Update: watson is now ready for his new home! he is such a gentle and sweet boy who has been a pleasure to train. We would like to see watson go to a home where there is a female bunny he can love and spoil. If you think you can provide watson with a better life, please fill in an adoption form at our website: www. Porschesrescue. Com
Medical notes
Vaccinated -please note that due to the release of calici virus on march the 1st, 2010, all bunnies adopted from us will be vaccinated. Please allow for an increase in the adoption fee to cover this large expense. Desexing normally costs anywhere from $100-$360. Vaccinations are from $40-80 (costs differ between vet clinics). Therefore please don't try to haggle the price of the animal for adoption. If you can't afford the adoption fee, you certainly wont afford the ongoing costs associated with animals
