Introducing Annie! 👋❤
Annie is the sweetest gentlest girl. She loves people and is happy and content just following you around the house and laying at your feet wherever you are inside the house. Although she still has plenty of energy, she is an older girl and is happy to just spend her days snoozing by your side. You can always tell where she is in the house as you can hear her tail start to wag whenever you get near her.
Annie is good with other dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog or be with another older dog that doesn't pressure her to play. Young kids may be too much for this old lady, so a home with a retiree or older kids would be best. As she is ageing, a home where she can sleep inside at night is preferred. Annie isn't good with cats and will try to herd them.
Annie still loves playing a short game of fetch and going on walks. She rarely barks, is house trained and walks well on lead. She has excellent manners and hasn’t chewed or destroyed anything inside or outside.
As a working breed, Annie still needs some physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy. If you think you can offer Annie a wonderful retirement home, we'd love to hear from you. 📞📧🐾
Medical notes
Annie was malnourished and had muscle wastage on arrival in our care. She is now a healthy weight, but requires ongoing gentle exercise to continue to build muscle.
