Winney

Get to know Winney! She is a sweet natured 2 year old Greyhound. She loves the company of people and other animals and of course lazing on the couch. Winney is currently in foster with another greyhound, cats and has been with a smaller dog. Nothing seems to phase Winney and is happy to be friends with everyone.
Given that she is a large dog, a nice secure fenced backyard is required to keep her safe.

Even though Winney is use to other animals, it is always important to introduce new friends slowly to ensure they get off to the best start.
The RSPCA is accredited to assess whether the greyhounds we adopt can safely be adopted 'muzzle free'. This dog has passed this test with flying colours and is now ready for a new home.

We ask for a one-month "foster to adopt" period, giving us all time to ensure that Winney can adapt and is comfortable in your home. When adopting a greyhound from us, you will receive a special orange collar, which has your dog's unique number on it. Please make sure your grey wear that collar when visiting a special greyhound off-leash area, located in Kingsborough and Launceston, or just out and about for a walk.
