This is Augustus. He's a super smart, happy lad. He is a confident boy with so much love, character and personality.

Augustus has fitted into his foster family like a champ. Routine and guidance from the resident dogs has given Augustus a wonderful start and he loves following their lead, whether that's through play, exploring or just learning how to switch off, it has really helped his development and confidence.

In Augustus' foster home he has two teenagers to play and cuddle with and two Golden Retrievers. He loves to play tug of war, chasey and above all having his belly rubbed.

He thrives off learning, further obedience training will be a must. Being a Border Collie, Augustus’s intelligence and enthusiasm will require an experienced owner. He will be one very loyal companion given all the love and guidance he deserves. Augustus sleeps through the night in his crate, is doing great with his toileting and is on 4 x meals a day as appropriate for his age.

Augustus’s new family will need to have a clear understanding of his breed requirements and a commitment to continue his training and socialisation. Above all a loving home where he will be part of the family included in the day-to-day activities of busy family life.
