About Link
MEET LINK!
Link is a purebred bengal boy that was originally from a breeder that was no longer breeding. Link is 9 years young this year.
We are only looking for the BEST home for this very loved boy.
Link is being put up for adoption for his own best chance at the purrfect life, he is currently being fostered in a home with multiple other cats where he can't be his happiest self and this is the only reason he is being put up for adoption, Link is happiest when he is on his own or with only 1 other passive cat as Link's bengal breed makes him dominant towards other kitties and animals.
Link is a very affectionate, smoochy, happy boy! He will follow you around, chirping and meowing at you for attention, making biscuits on his way! He loves to curl up on your lap and purr the day away. Link sometimes even gets so happy he suckles on his own belly whilst he's curled up in your lap, purring.
We are looking for a home where Link will be the centre of your attention and be allowed to sleep with you of a night.
We would prefer to find Link a home with someone who has experience/knowledge of the bengal breed and understands their behaviours and needs however any experienced cat owner will be considered.
Link must not be allowed outside (bengals are excellent hunters and he must not be allowed outside to kill wildlife or go exploring and get into trouble), he is an indoor only cat but we would love to see him go to a home with an outdoor enclosed area for him to spend time and play in (but this is not necessary in the right home).
We would like to conduct a video call initially with successful applicants and then have an in person meet & greet unless you are local in which case an in person meet and greet can be organised.
Medical notes
Link is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, he is a healthy adult and currently eats premium brand dry food to keep him in good condition, we recommend having him on a dental dry diet and some wet food / treats once a day.
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
