Are you looking for a faithful companion? A true shadow who is more interested in people than other dogs? Thor is looking for his retirement home. We are looking for the very best of homes for this handsome guy.

Thor is great with people and loves to be with his main people all of the time. He won't suit full time working people as he prefers it when he can be around his family as much as possible. Thor is friendly with other dogs and would probably be best suited to living with a female dog, although having a canine friend in the home is not a requirement if there are people around. However if he was expected to be left alone for any time he would prefer a doggy companion.

He loves going on car rides and has excellent obedience, preferring to stick close to his people rather than run off alone to sniff new places or be super social. Thor requires daily physical activities and loves a good play with his rope toy. He enjoys the company of children. Being an Australian Shepherd with a glorious coat, Thor needs a family who understand his ongoing grooming needs that can either maintain his coat themselves with regular brushing and washing or are prepared for grooming costs with a professional. 

Thor is a very rewarding companion and in good health with his only slight concern being some anxiety when left alone. Thor has not been tested with cats.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $350 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check..
