About Apollo
Apollo is a eight month old German Shepherd who has been fostered and is now ready to find a new home, due to their work commitments.
Apollo needs a home where he can connect with his family and show how much love he can give to his humans. He will need time to gain his new families trust but we can see he is such a gentle boy and good natured.
Apollo will be suited to a home that have experience with the German Shepherd breed and have the time and commitment for this young dog. He previously lived with young children, so can go to a home with young children, if they are recently lived with a big dog.
We want him to go to a home where he will be an integral family member.
Apollo has had some basic training session but being a young dog will need more. He is a smaller dog and is currently weighs 20 kilos
He is living with a cat.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Apollo will give in abundance when he connects and builds that trust with his new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Apollo.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Apollo".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Apollo. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Apollo is microchipped and will be desexed at a later date.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
