About Grouch
Poor little Grouch was found all alone, and when she came into foster care she was so thin you could feel every bone in her little body. She was, understandably, a little grumpy her first few days in foster care as she adjusted to her new life, and subsequently she earnt the name "Grouch". As Grouch got used to the love, put on weight and started feeling better, her true colours shone through and she revealed herself to be a beautiful, friendly and not-so-grouchy kitty.
Grouch has an independent streak, not reliant in human attention 24/7, but when she decides she wants some love you'll know about it! She will cry out for her humans and then snuggle up for close-up cuddles. She particularly enjoys being cradled like a baby. Grouch loves a good pat, and often chooses the end of her foster human's bed to nap on. She also has a great purr, which can be unlocked by brushing her long and silky fur!
Grouch also loves to play, particularly during her 10pm 'zoomies' sessions! She will run full speed around the house, climb her scratching pole and chase her toy balls (her favourites), before passing out in a cool, quiet place for a well deserved nap.
Grouch is still a little timid at times, and loud noises and chaotic environments can still startle her at times. For this reason, she would best be suited to a peaceful home so that she can feel safe to be the funny, quirky and not-very-grouchy kitty that she is! She would be happy in a home with no other pets, but would probably adapt to a home with another kitty if introduced slowly and gently as she is still very young.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
