About Bailey
Please meet BAILEY, a very sweet but reserved male Border Collie mix, born 13 January 2015.
This is what Bailey's foster mum has to say about him:
"I think Bailey was a working dog that was worked pretty hard by his previous owner. Until he gets to know you, he's a bit stand-offish and he seems to prefer females to males. He likes to have a hiding place to withdraw to when he's feeling overwhelmed by our other dogs, loud noises or lots of activity.
"However, once he makes a connection with you, as he has with me, he reveals his affectionate and loyal side. He's a gentle soul and has the potential to be a great companion dog.
"He's really good with the other dogs in residence, both big and small, although he gives our large, dominant male a wide berth. He's happy to ignore the cat. He has good manners with my young daughter.
"One thing Bailey loves is biting at the water from the hose, so there's still plenty of playful puppy in this boy.
"He would do best in a quieter home with someone around most of the time and another dog to play with. He just needs a little time, love and patience to reach his full potential as a really delightful companion dog."
As always, secure fencing is essential, but Bailey is not a fence jumper.
His adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
