Batman 💖

Hello!

My name is Batman (like the train station, not the character) and I’m the sweetest little guy you’ll meet. I’m looking for a home with people who enjoy giving lots and lots of pats! I'll fit right in if you already have other cats or pets.

I’m a bob tail - which means I have a little stub for a tail and I think it makes me look super cute. I get it from my mum (I probably have some Manx heritage). I come from a big family (bob tails too) and we were found living at Coburg station when I was a tiny kitten, so I’m really used to being around a lot of cats. I get on well with all cats, even the ones that don’t like me much!

My favourite things are getting as many pats as possible from my people and snoozing. I’m still really a kitten at heart and like to play, but I’m also a bit of lazy bones! You can almost always find me curled up in bed with a sibling or two. In the evenings I like to curl up in bed with my carers.

I love, love, love treats and food. The quickest way to my heart is with something yummy! If you have something delicious on hand I will show you my biggest purr and rub my head against you for as long as you like. I’m particularly fond of treat tubes and greenies.

I can still be a little shy around strangers, but I’m gaining confidence every day. So long as my new family understands I may need a little extra time and patience to get to know them, I’m sure we’ll get on super well! My foster carers are currently working on getting me used to being picked up and sitting on a lap and I'm really starting to like this. It would be great if we could keep working on this together, my carer says I’m going to love it eventually.

In the meantime, I really love being petted! I'll even seek my people out and ask for pats by gently nudging them with my paw. I recently learned about belly rubs and will flop over on my side whenever I get the chance for one. And if you have time, all I want is a good scratch behind my ears and long strokes down my back. I could get that kind of attention for hours if you let me.
