About Maya
Maya
30kg, 10 year old Labrador.
Maya has met the other animals briefly and she was fine with the cats, but went stiff and growled at the dogs.
She does not actively seek to approach the dogs at all. She really couldn't care less about them it seems, but if they come near her that's when she puts her guard up.
We will continue to work on her social skills but aside from that she is EXTREMELY people friendly. You know the "over the top, I'm a labrador, do you have any food"... type of friendly.
She sits, she shakes and she is a people pleaser. Oh and did I mention...she likes food....alot...🤣
Maya's teeth are average at best, fairly worn and she will need to attend vet check ups semi regularly to keep an eye on their condition.
She is currently battling an ear infection but that should be over with soon enough.
Desexed, chipped, microchipped and available for adoption soon, (once we have a better idea whether she is able to be rehomed with other dogs or not and when her ears are a little better)
Our seniors adoption fee is $295.
Located Jimboomba for meet and greets.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
