Darla

Darla is a worried girl who is looking for a patient, understanding owner who is prepared to take the time she needs to introduce her to her new home and to her doggy world. She is best suited to an adult only home or one with older children and where someone is home more often than not. Darla hadn't had any training before coming into the shelter so an owner dedicated to working with her would be great. She is very food motivated which will help when training her. Darla will enjoy a home with space for her to run around and a family who will provide daily physical and mental activities. She was worried and timid when meting other dogs during her Behaviour Assessment so may be best as your only dog. She is not suited to visiting dog parks or off lead areas and if she is to live with another dog she will need to meet him at time of adoption.
