About Dolly - 6 Month Old Mixed Breed (On Trial)
Dolly is gentle, sweet girl. She is likely a Kelpie/Rottweiler mix. She hasn’t had the best start to life arriving to care with a broken leg. With amazing vet care and a little TLC she is fully healed and super ready to start a new amazing life with her forever family. She loves her soft toys and ropes, and going for walks. She is quite good on the lead although further training will of course be needed.
She adores her foster-sister - a solid Staffy girl, and has learnt great doggy manners and has been working on basic obedience training. She is toilet trained. Dolly will not jump up and knows to sit for pats. Of a daytime she is happy to play in the yard and play with her enrichment toys. She is strongly independent and not a pest under foot. She has successfully been left for a few hours each day without issue. Of a night time she loves to sleep on the floor near your bed, she would prefer to sleep indoors and has done without accident or incident.
It would be great if Dolly could go to a home that has another dog she can play with while their owners are out and about. Otherwise, a home with owners who can give her plenty of enrichment and exercise will also be considered. She is a young active dog and would need a yard large enough to accommodate her zoomies and play antics.
Overview
- Dolly needs decent sized fully fenced yard with no small gaps
- an active family who has time and energy to take her on outings and adventures to fulfill her exercise and social needs
