About Captain Boxer
Ahoy me Mateys! I'm Captain Boxer and I'm searching the seas for my new home! I am a very sociable landlubber at heart. I'm a talkative and smoochy guy who is known to stay on the lookout for laps to luxuriate on. I've lived with cats and dogs before and am friendly with other pets who I am introduced slowly to. I might be okay with younger children so long as they are gentle with me! I would like to live in a family where there are often people at home to give me attention. I run a tight ship but when I'm not on duty I'm a very laid back and relaxed boy who just loves his crew.

You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
Burwood: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
