About Beau
Introducing magnificent Chowder!
Chowder is a lovely, friendly maremma sheepdog but true to his breed he can be fairly wary when meeting new people. He will often alarm bark to alert of us of strangers which is exactly what his breed is supposed to do however not the easiest to thing to live with in a suburban backyard.
Chowder would be well suited to living on a farm but as we have no knowledge of whether he has been around livestock we would always recommend introductions to other animals be gradual and controlled.
He thinks catch me is the best game in the world and will come bounding at you before dancing just out of reach so might not be the a great candidate for off lead parks. He might enjoy living with another dog and would be suited to a family with secondary aged children, preferably a home with females only as Chowder is quite unsure of men :)
If you think Chowder might be the man for you come into our Cranbourne Shelter and meet him today.
Weight: 30.3kg (still growing)
