About Baxter
Introducing Baxter a Maltese x born 14th January 2021.
Baxter is a gorgeous young man who loves everyone he meets.
Baxter tested great with other dogs, both large & small. He didn't even mind that the large dog was being very pushy with his affection & play style. If you have existing dogs at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before he is adopted.
Baxter tested well with cats, but became scared of them when he was hissed at. He is also scared of pocket pets, but we feel he would be suitable to live with them as long as they have a slow & controlled introduction.
Baxter has shown mild signs of separation anxiety which we feel could settle in a home environment, however we are recommending no full-time workers.
Baxter is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Baxter, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Baxter’s adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Baxter is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Baxter is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
