About Beau
Beau is an adorable soft and cuddly little bloke. He loves to play with the other puppies, especially enjoying a wrestle and a run around in the yard to explore the natural world. He enjoys a game with the big friendly playful dogs, but is respectful of the adult dogs who want to be left alone. Overall, he has excellent dog manners and is a well socialised fellow. When he is tired he will curl up in a dog bed for a big sleep, or just collapse on the grass. In the evening he loves a cuddle on the couch and will ask to come up on the bed and have a snuggle in close.
Beau was born in a small remote community in the western desert region of the Northern Territory. His mum is a slender wire-haired dog of light medium stature, but Beau has a soft coat and the beautiful sable colouring of his dad, and long slender legs. He really is quite elegant. He was surrendered by his family with his littermates for us to raise up and re-home. He has been in care from 5 weeks of age and has grown into a confident little boy. He is now ready to find his special place in the world.
Beau is currently in foster care on Community and will be ready to travel by mid-February. He will travel by car from Community into Alice Springs, then by air from Alice Springs to Adelaide. His travel costs are included in his adoption fee.
Medical notes
In addition to the usual regular parasite management (worming and tick and flea prevention), Beau will be tested for a full panel of the tick bourne diseases endemic in the Territory. If treatment is indicated this will be provided.
