Spooky

Allow us to present Spooky.

This pretty young lady gets her name not because she is spooky herself, but because everything else in the big wide world has the potential to be a bit too spooky for her :(

Great news though, one of our fabulous foster carers has been fundamental in building Spooky's confidence. However she still has a long way to go and will need the best environment to set her up for success.

One of those things that is a bit scary is kids and visitors. So a nice quiet, adult home is a must. Plenty of routine and predictability will help Spook feel safe.

New owners will need to be prepared to not take it personally when Spooky is unsure of them as well, as she will need lots of time patience and yummy snacks to build her confidence, and a relationship, in her new home.

Like all dogs she will need a large secure yard and once settled in she loves spending her time indoors.

In foster care Spooky as made good friends with RSPCA alumni Bill, a very similar size dog to Spooky. He has been very helpful in building Spooky's confidence.
A friendly, similar sized & robust canine companion is an absolute must for Spooky as it will help her settle into a new environment.

Once settled in (be prepared for weeks not days) Spooky's favourite place to go is the beach :)
