Hey all, I'm Maple and I’m a bit reserved at first and have sadly not always had positive human interactions because of this I am very shy meeting new people and only when I fully trust you will I be able to show you my full potential! I have recently been surrendered to the pound due to no fault of my own, I am a very submissive girl and don't have a mean bone in my body. I need a new family that can allow me to learn and grow as i become comfortable in my new home and also has experience with large breed dogs. I am a very gentle girl and don't nip, jump, or scratch I'm happy to follow you everywhere and soak up all the love in our down time, I have not had the best start to life in my last short 12 months and because of this I'm open to learning new behaviors and have soooo much potential to be the best behaved girl ever! I have the biggest smile and the cutest floppy ears that bounce around when i get my morning zoomies!😍 🐾
Like all puppies, I’m still learning the toilet training thing but am picking it up super quickly – continued training and encouragement will see me master it in no time! I love to play with other friendly dogs and run around doing my morning zoomies! Sadly I have not been shown all the good aspects of puppy life such as playing with toys and going for adventures, I’m still trying to figure out what I am meant to do with all these toys and walking on a leash is still very scary for me as I am still learning what it means!🥳🎀
I’m still a very young dog and have not yet experienced the big world yet nor have I ever know what it’s like to actually be part of a family, I will make a super sweet lounge lizard and probably take up most of the room! My breed is known for being gentle, affectionate and relaxed with a moderate energy level – so we’re great for many types of homes, although I have lived with children before the new kiddos will need to respect that I will be reserved at first and my new family will need to take my introductions slowly. Ongoing socialization and exposure is crucial for my personality to grow! I really enjoy playing with friendly dogs and do get easily scared by intimidating and overly confident dogs, I would benefit extremely form a well behaved dog mate that can teach me how to live like a proper puppy and learn to enjoy all the beautiful activities we can do with my new family in and outside the home!👀👨👩👧👧
I’d love to live alongside a doggy companion, especially an older dog I can learn from – but I wouldn’t be too mad at all to have all of your attention to myself! I haven’t been tested with children or cats. I’ll come to you desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and all up to date on my vet work – will you be able to give me the second chance I deserve? If you can offer her a loving home please call council today on 1300176077! 📞📲
Her adoption fee is $381 and this includes her first c4 vaccine, flea/ worm treatment, microchip, nsw lifetime registration and desexing! Maple is seeking a specific home and if you do not meet the full criteria for what she needs we will keep looking for her for ever family, due to her more reserved nature and poor upbringing she will need a patient and dog experienced family willing to allow her to be completely part of the family!👀🏡

The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
