Meet Dex!

He is a young, male pup who came into Waggin Tail's care from rural NSW as part of a last litter program. Although he didn't have the best start to life, with lots of dedication and patience, he is slowly becoming the greatest pup he can be!

Dex loves kids and gets along great with them, and even cats too! Dex can be a bit chasey with cats so a dog savvy cat would suit best. He has an incredible appetite for food and treats, but also loves being included in family activities like chilling on the couch or going on walks to explore. While he can be a bit jumpy at times - especially around kids under 8 - he knows his basic commands and is crate trained.

With continued training, Dex has been getting better with other dogs although it’s best if he lives in an only-dog home with chances to socialize at parks or training classes.

As long as Dex receives lots of love and patience, he will make a wonderful companion for any family!
