About Charlie
Hi, my name is Charlie (or Charlie Chops due to my love of food).
I came from a trainer who thought it would be a good idea to advertise me online to find me a home. The person who took me in was a lovely young man but so young he couldn’t look after me properly.
When I came into foster care I had a very empty tummy… and had for a long time. I had some problems knowing where my next meal was coming from and it made me a bit snatchy and scared. I’ve worked so hard on learning to feel safe with my food (and have had a lot of people helping me!!)
I’m still super interested in food so if you want your snacks safe, please don’t leave them at snoot level!
I love, love, love kids! I’ve been living with my young human foster brother and we are besties! I also become very excited when I see other kids I want to meet. I also love all other new humans and will show excitement and tell you who I want to meet.
My other fave is TOYS!! I love the crinkle ones the best.
I’m crazy good on the leash, but if I become excited by a new human pal I may jump and play.
More about Charlie:
Charlie is looking for a family that will shower him with love on his terms. He likes his own time but will let you know when it's time to be patted. Charlie would love a space for zoomies and room to throw his toys around and a lounge to roach on is a must. He loves his walks and sometimes shows interest in jogging for a little, so an active home would be good, but he still loves to sleep the day/night away. Charlie would be fine as a single dog but would also be happy with a doggo sibling. He is the hound of opposites after all!
Charlie is a clever-clogs and loves his clogs - he’s a lil bit of a shoe hoarder.
He is toilet trained but only likes to pee on grass, pooping is either on concrete or grass.
