Mambo

Mambo likes to be The Only Child in the home.

He is a great companion who is happy just doing his own thing whilst his people are home. Pottering in the garden, snoozing in a sunny corner and generally just happy in his own space, however, when you get close to that front door, he is there in a flash in anticipation of his 30 minute walk. These walks are the absolute highlight of his day. Not much of a fan of the beach or water, he prefers bush walks and parks and a good sniff.

Mambo is suspicious of all dogs on his walks and no matter their size, he will tell them off for being in his community. He likes his one human and can be as equally suspicious of some people outside of his home.

Super excited to greet you when you return after leaving him home for a short time, he will bring you toys and dance about in anticipation of that walk you promised him. He will whine a bit when first leave but with routine he stops after a time and should adapt fine to a working household.

Our dogs available for adoption are living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form via the above link, you will receive a response within 14 days. Please check your 'Junk and Spam' folder.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
