About Ralph - 10 Week Old Border Collie X (On Trial)
Hi, this is Ralph, a handsome 10-week-old Border Collie x Rottweiler puppy. Ralph is a very clever and independent little pup, who is looking for a family who can give him the cuddles and praise he deserves. Ralph loves a good pat and belly scratch from his foster parents and cannot get enough of his toys. Ralph is a shy little pup, but he is growing in confidence daily. Ralph enjoys the company of the big dogs that he is living with and spends most of his day cuddling up to his big foster brother.
Ralph loves chewing on his sheep, playing tug-o-war with a rope, or chasing balls with the big dogs. Ralph is a very clever little pup and has already learnt to sit for treats and pats. Ralph will happily sleep in his crate at night if his foster parents leave the door open for him and even takes himself out the doggy-door to use the bathroom on the grass each night.
Ralph’s parents are both working breeds which means Ralph is going to need lots of stimulation as he grows up. Ralph’s forever family will need to have an active lifestyle and take Ralph out for walks or activities every day. Because Ralph is a clever little boy, he would benefit from a home where his owner/s have time to give him training tasks or stimulating challenges to complete. Ralph is happy to spend the day outside with his foster siblings but may become bored if he is left on his own for extended periods of time. Ralph’s ideal family will need to have time to spend with him each day, or a friendly older dog for him to play with while they are at work. Ralph will need a home with good fencing that is 6ft tall with no small gaps. Unfortunately, rural fencing (e.g mesh or wire) would not be suitable.
For more information on Ralph, please contact his foster carer on their email clarkin91@outlook.com. Ralph is in foster care in Glendale, NSW. Ralph’s adoption fee is $700. As Ralph is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
