About Snow
Snow is a special features fuzzy white angel who just so happens to be deaf too!
With her stunning mixed eye colour, curly piggy tail and cute little beard, you will fall in love fast.
Read on to really seal the deal…
Snow knows basic commands with the use of hand/voice commands inc Sit, Wait inc opening doors, Sit and Wait for food and treats, Come Here, and No/Stop.
Snow has no vision or eye abnormalities, however, she is quite light sensitive, so sometimes when she’s outdoors she can appear like she can’t see well.
Although she is in her puppy teething phase she doesn’t really chew things she shouldn’t, however, she can be a little nippy playing with adults arms and hands, especially with her main handler when excited.
She loves all the toys in the toy box and antlers/hooves that we have laying around for them. Snow is a big fan of dried cow hoof chews in her crate.
Snow walks quite well on lead, she will need some positive encouragement with her training to boost her confidence out and about too, being deaf, new places can be scary at first if exposure is limited.
Snow goes to the toilet outside most of the time with access via the doggy door which is open at all times, however if playing inside she might forget where she is meant to go, but with a little time she will get it right. She always goes outside if taken out regularly
Snow adores the 5 big dogs in her foster home, but doesn’t like being rushed upon by them without notice as being deaf, she may be unaware and can seem a little more timid than other pups. Snow might even seem snappy at first meeting new friends because of this.
Snow likes running style play and exploring together, swimming in the dam, lazing in the sun, sharing chew toys and snuggling for a sleep. She definitely would benefit from a dog friend for her separation anxiety.
Snow has been crate trained to help her with her overall confidence and separation anxiety. In her current foster home, she lives a totally normal life, although her humans work from home she can safely be left home alone with her dog pals inside or crated without issue for part of the day.
*DOGS: Yes Please!
*CATS: Untested - foster mum thinks we could work on this if done right as I'm a sweetie
*KIDS: Over 10 please - the small ones are loud in energy and move unpredictably and startle me
