About Zan
Weighing in at a loveable 38kg’s, Zan doesn’t realise he’s not supposed to be a lap dog… but that doesn’t stop him anyway.
Zan’s favourite pastime is chasing tennis balls and rubber balls that bounce unnaturally when you throw them away, often causing him to lose traction on any smooth surface.
It’s easy to see Zan has had a troubled past as you can notice a sense of anxiety in his mood and facial expressions from time to time. He compensates for this by being an extremely affectionate and loveable companion that yearns to sit on your lap, arm or leg whenever he has the chance.
Meeting new people hasn’t been an issue for Zan. He’s confident meeting new adults but hasn’t met any children younger than 16 just yet.
Zan would really benefit from a family that is at home more than they are not. In his current environment, Zan spends 3 days/week at home alone but benefits from mental stimulation toys to keep his wonderful brain active.
This big goof ball loves climbing into bed with his foster carer, but also will settle in a bed close to his people.
