About Peso
😻 Peso is the cutest and funniest cat you will ever meet! He has a distinct personality being both funny and playful, but also calm and snuggly. He always enjoys being the centre of attention, but is first in line for snuggles.
🖤 Peso loves being with people and is confident enough to help himself to your lap. He loves lazing back in your arms, purring as you give him all the pats he needs.
🐶🐱 Peso loves the company of cats and dogs, and would benefit from having a friendly buddy at his new home. This may be one of his brothers or a friend you already have.
👶👧🧒 Peso loves when children shower him the love, affection, and attention he deserves, so a home with kids is fine too.
Peso is desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and lifetime registered with the council. He is ready to meet his new family!
Is that you?
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
