About Macey
Macey is 7yo female Australian Cattle Dog Cross desexed vaccinated 28kg medium build.
A Confident lady looking for a retirement home to call her own. She is cheeky but also loving and sweet. Very loyal true to her breed
She was rescued on the day she was scheduled to be euthanised because her time was up - she was impounded since 1st Dec 2022 because her prev home just lost interest in her so she was let out on the street.
Macey is:
House Trained
Walks well on leash
Basic obedience skills
Medium to Low activity- she loves exploring, walking on trails etc 2X a day 30mins to 40mins.
Good in the car
Happy to sleep / lounge anywhere ie her bed, floor, ottoman ??
Indoor dog with access to secured yard.
****She is a mature lady that prefers the company of other well behaved dogs
Doesn't appreciate being jumped on with over the top dogs
Macey is sweet affectionate calm lady.
She is suitable for mature /older kids that won't pester her as MACEY likes to have her own space sometimes especially when she is tired.
She is ok being the only dog in the house she doesn't have to be around other dogs.
At her age being taken to dog parks with random excited dogs really doesn't interest her at all. She is the best companion dog to those looking to have a 4 legged best friend going through life together ??
CAT - UNTESTED
She is:
Vaccinated
Desexed
Full Blood Test *all normal*
Flea & Worm treated
She eats mixed diet of premium dry food, home cooked meal and Raw Bones for dental hygiene
Macey is looking for a family that loves her breed and appreciate her mature temperament. A family that will include her as a part of the team *given that her prev family gave up on her and lost interest*
If you work full time and will leave MACEY FOR 8 TO 10 HOURS everyday- MACEY is not the dog for you.
Adopting through our charity means you'll receive everything you need enough for the next 2 to 3 mths . This will incld her bed, bowls, food, leash & collar, toys and every other items we have given her during her fostering period with us
