About Charlie
Don’t let Charlie’s former race name “Mac Madness” fool you, he is no lunatic. In fact, the only madness that will come with this sweetheart is just how madly in love you will fall for him!
This affectionate gentle giant is excellent with children and would make a delightful companion for the kids. If truth be told, our quiet and friendly boy just loves people in general! All he asks in return is to be loved back by his forever family.
Charlie is so happy and fun to be around, even other dogs love him! Charlie would be more than pleased to share his new home with another canine friend. He is fine with dogs of all sizes, especially if they are female.
He may be a bit goofy at times, but Charlie is always a good boy who doesn’t dig holes and mostly just wants to receive a cuddle!
Now nobody is perfect, and although Charlie is ticking all the perfection boxes right now, our warm-hearted boy does have a limp and slight deformity from an old hock injury. Rest assured, Charlie is in no pain. He has received vet clearance, however there is the chance he will develop Arthritis (but the rest of us likely will too mind you!)
Although Charlie really is the dog of anyone’s dreams, he will need someone willing to work with his continued treatment plan so he can remain the happy and cuddly boy that he is. We are always here to offer endless support and treatment options for this gorgeous lad who really is worth the extra care and love.
It does mean Charlie is suitable for a small yard and short walks – more time for hugs and bonding together on the lounge!
Medical notes
Fractured hock - vet treated and healed
