Puddy is best described as a whip-smart bundle of energy with a big heart.

He is a sweet, goofy boy, that despite his small frame, is all head and legs. There isn’t anything he’s not accidentally crashed into when he’s playing with his foster fur brother. Granted it’s pretty hard keeping legs and brain working simultaneously when you are a super speedy boy. Despite this, he is very intelligent and picks up commands quickly.

A quick, playful medium to large resident dog that can keep up and withstand his playful kelpie nipping would be the best match for this boy. He has been known to stop and have a quick random power nap mid-game to recharge his batteries before going full steam ahead again in mere minutes. After a long day of adventures and play, he puts himself to bed at 8.30pm every night without fail.

He loves to explore and he's highly motivated by food. He's a natural at walking on leash and is working on staying calm when he sees other animals or people on his walks. He is toilet trained and while he is inquisitive about everything, he’s easily redirected.

Puddy needs an active home with people who can be a firm but fair guide to him. Those with high energy or working breed dog experience are encouraged to apply.
